Terms of service
Installing the extension or signing in means these terms apply to you.
What the service does
Applyready reads a job posting you have open, rewrites your resume against it, drafts a cover letter, and shows people at that company whose public pages suggest they matter for the role. It applies for nobody, sends no messages for you, and promises nothing about interviews or offers.
Your account
One account belongs to one person. Keep the sign-in address under your own control: anything done through your account counts as done by you. Only people aged 16 and over may hold an account.
What you upload
By uploading your resume you allow the service to store it, read it and use it to build your applications, and nothing else. The facts in it have to be true: whatever cannot be matched against them is dropped or named on screen.
Fair use
- Do not use the extension to collect data about other people beyond the names, titles and public links it shows you.
- Do not resell, republish or redistribute the contact information it surfaces.
- Do not run it through automation that fires applications without a person reading them.
- Do not attempt to reach parts of the service you were not given access to.
Break these rules and access ends. Repeat the abuse and the account closes without a refund.
Third-party sites
Their own terms are set by the job boards and career sites, and this extension changes none of them. Anything you submit to a board goes through the board's own form, under the board's own rules.
Billing
On the free plan you get three full applications a month.
Pro is not on sale yet. When it opens it will cost $9 a month, charged on the day you start and on the same date each month after that, and it will run until you cancel. Cancelling on the billing page will keep Pro to the end of the paid month and then move the account to Free with the profile intact.
Once there are charges, write to hello@applyready.ai within 14 days of one and it comes back in full.
Any price change is announced by email at least 30 days ahead, and it never applies to a month already paid for.
What we cannot promise
The service is provided as it is. Generated text can be wrong, a posting can be misread, a board can change overnight and stop being read, and a person shown on the People tab can have moved on. Read what you send before you send it. For any claim, liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Ending it
Remove the extension whenever you like, and delete the account on the delete data page. We may end an account for the reasons listed under fair use, or if the service itself shuts down, in which case unused paid time is returned.
Changes to these terms
A new version appears here with a new date. Carry on using the service after that, and the new version applies.
Operator and governing law
No operating company is named on this page yet, and nothing is charged for the service. The company, its address and the law these terms are read under go here before two things happen: the extension is listed in the Chrome Web Store, and the first payment is taken.
